Free Flag Football

Flag Football (September – November)

Our Flag Football league is co–sponsored by the NFL & PAL. This citywide league for children ages 8–14 has been going on for more than ten years.

We are getting ready for the beginning of our flag football season, and I would like for all of you who are interested to get a chance to get your children involved. This flag football league is going on in all 5 boroughs, for children ages 8-11 co-ed and boys ages 12-14. If you’re interested, please get in contact with your borough coordinator ASAP, because spots are limited, teams fill up fast, the program is free and I would love for your child to join us and have fun. We are looking to begin this league sometime between the middle of September and the first week of October, but in order to do so, I’m going to need committed teams in the next couple of days, so coaches will be getting their teams together soon.

Flag Football (September - November)
The City of New York Parks & Recreation is gearing up for its annual Flag Football League. Our Flag Football league is co-sponsored by the NFL & PAL. This citywide league for children ages 8-14 has been going on for more than ten years. Last year’s league accommodated roughly 27 teams in the 8-11 division and 25 teams in the 12-14 division. A total of 620+ children participated. The Citywide Championships were held at East River Park during the fall.
